Most of us don’t try because we are so afraid to fail.
But, if you think about it too much you may end up not trying; not chasing that dream/goal, stepping out that comfort zone. If we all did this we would automatically fail by default.
I’ve come to realise it’s all about mindset – and keeping motivated – Oh, and a hell of a lot of self belief!
You have to believe in you, even on days when you feel like there’s nothing to believe in. You have to keep a positive mind and always root for yourself.
I find that to keep that passion burning, I find things to help me, be it a good quote; writing my thoughts down in a dairy; reading about inspiring people and of course surrounding myself with positive like-minded people.
Speaking from personal experience, at times I let the fear of failure control my life. Stop me from doing and trying new experiences. I find myself thinking what will people say, what if… I look stupid? what if… I fail? These thoughts can breed negativity and self-doubt.
But, guess what? Sometimes we do fail. Failure doesn’t mean we give up.
Overcoming failure makes us stronger! Pick yourself up, brush yourself off and try again.
Let’s face, unless you had all the opportunities, that can be afforded growing up, life can be a struggle.
I haven’t conquered my fear of failure, but I have developed tools to help me in my day-to-day life to be stronger and strive to achieve my goals.
I’m going to leave you with one of my favourite quotes of all time. This quote opens up a possibility of positive questioning which helps me on a daily basis to face my fears and keep pushing forward.
Whenever I’m feeling unsure, or questioning my abilities I say this quote to myself.
“What if I Fall? Oh, but my darling what if you fly?”
Remember with self belief and a positive mindset, and a dash of hard work the possibilities are endless.
